Mutula is dead.
Kenyans are mourning the passing away of Hon. Mutula Kilonzo who died today (27th April 2013) at his home. The family reported earlier in the day that the senator had not woke up even after his normal hour of waking up and when he was checked, he was found dead. No clear explanation has been given to his death and the Kenyan police are on the ground to ascertain what really led to the death of this legal mind.
Hon. Kilonzo has served in the nation and is one of the key leaders who helped document the Kenyan new constitution.
He has served in the education ministry where he laid strict rules as regards systems to be followed and is even popular for supporting short skirts for school going learners.
He will be remembered for many accomplishment that has seen him land in high profile offices and has indeed been very vocal in matters of constitution.
The late Mutula Kilonzo was in the former Prime Minister's CORD coalition and was one of the key leaders in the coalition.
Leaders from different regions have sent their messages of condolence to the befallen hero. In his statement, the Kenyan President His excellency Uhuru Kenyatta expressed his sorrow to the family of the late terming him as a very key leader who will be remembered for the hard and commitment to work during his time.
