weight loss journey that works
I have been on a weight loss journey since December. I have had my ups and downs but I am proud to say I have lost 34 pounds. I was up to 288 pounds. Life wasn't that good, my body always hurt, and my weight caused many problems. I decided to lose weight when my blood pressure jumped to 195/95 and stayed that way until I was finally put on blood pressure pills. I was having chest pains all the time and couldn't breathe that good. I was very scared and finally decided to do something about it. I really watch my diet, I have alot of salads, fruits, vegetables. Ground turkey is really good. I was up to six pops a day and no water. Now I have 2 diet cokes and 8-10 glasses of water. I learned the keys to weight loss is diet, exercise, hard work and dedication. Counting calories and sodium intake has really helped also. My body is changing for the better everyday. I exercise 4-6 days a week walking a hour each day. Since I have been exercising and losing weight I can walk better, breathe better, my blood pressure is awesome and I am doing so much better. I am really at a happy place in my life all because I chose to become healthy. It has not been a easy road but its been a great trip. I encourage people to exercise more and eat better and I can tell you you will feel so much better. I am at the beginning of my journey and am doing great, when I fall down I pick myself up and go harder and further. We need to have more resources to teach our youth about the problems you can have from being overweight. If I can help one person from my journey I would be pleased.
