The Business of selling avon

One day a few years back I was looking for something to do after seeing an ad on the web for a job fair I decided to go since after all it was just down the road from my house. I got to the job fair and checked several interesting jobs but none was what I really wanted, I gathered info on everything any way and left for home. I went through my bag of goodies with my wife and as a joke I said well I could always sell avon little did I know that she was all for me selling avon . That afternoon I called the number on the card and set up an interview, it easy since the avon rep I met with was only a block away. I met with her and that very day I became an avon rep. I must say selling avon is not as easy as some might think. First you must know what you are getting into and second there are so many things you should do in order to have a great selling business,. You need to order more books then you think you do at least a hundred and yet you may only get twenty or thirty orders some times more sometimes less, having samples are always a great giveaway that will keep customers up with the lastest things out. All supplies, books, samples, and anything else you want or need is out of your pocket, however having an avon party is a great way to make up some of the money you will have invested in the business.
