McCain suggests cover-up at Benghazi
Senator John McCain, a cover-upper from the past, the Keating Five scandal in 1987, dares to accuse the Obama administration of scandal at Benghazi. Seeking impunity from his misdeeds, McCain was cleared of having acted improperly but was criticized for using "poor judgment' by the Senate Ethics Committee in 1991. Having full knowledge of what constitutes a scandal, his opinion shows arrogance and hubris concerning Benghazi.
The eight month old Benghazi scandal appears to be a conflict between the CIA and the State Department under Secretary Hillary Clinton. Opponents have suggested that the twelve changes of particular words rest solely in her lap. The Keating Five scandal involved seated senators emplloying illegal maneuvering within Savings and Loan legislation. This occurred in 1987, but remained unresolved until 1991.
The assertion that Senator McCain needs more answers, adds more confusion to his rant. McCain missed the "classified briefing" on Benghazi, and he called his absence unintentional and unfortunate to ABC News "The Note." Questioning answers given in a briefing he did not attend insults the average American's comprehension.
