An Outstanding Upscale Destination To Visit While In Los Angeles

Los Angeles Culture

When visiting the downtown sector of Los Angeles, one of the most outstanding, upscale places to visit for excellent entertainment, prime restaurants for dining and awesome touring attractions is the Walt Disney Concert Hall. The grand opening was held in October 2003.

The Walt Disney Concert Hall is the newest addition to the PAC (Performing Arts Center) also known as The Music Center of Los Angeles County. This entertainment complex also consists of the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Mark Taper Forum, the Ahmanson Theater and the Center Theater Group. This is the area in downtown Los Angeles where upscale premium entertainment is offered to those with discriminating taste.

For the finest in dining pleasure, the Patina Restaurant and Concert Hall Café offer the choicest American and international cuisine and beverages, The dishes served at the Patina Restaurant are guaranteed to please even the most discriminating taste. There is also the Intermission Bar to toast your evening with a celebratory drink.
The Walt Disney Concert Hall is an awesome testimony to man’s engineering and construction abilities. This magnificent structure is fascinating to behold in many aspects.

It is rumored that it took 18 years to complete the design and construction of this facility at a cost of nearly $300 million dollars. Over 20 acres of special lumber was harvested to compliment the interior of the concert hall. Nothing was spared in the building of this spectacular structure. I can attest to these statements as being valid having been involved with overseeing many of the contractors as the Supervisor of the SOC (Security Operations Center) charged with the completion of this complex's computerized security system.

You will not regret or forget your visit to this beautiful structure. This would be an outstanding event for the whole family. For more information on directions and activities being offered at this location, please click on the links.

Enjoy your visit.
