A Salute To The Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veterans Medical Center

Health Care

During my formative years as a youth born, raised and educated in Los Angeles, California, basic Judeo-Christian morals were instilled in me and I was taught that it was an honor and privilege to serve God and country. I took this obligation seriously.

Upon receiving my Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Army over four decades ago, I began reaping the benefits of successfully completing my military obligation to my country. The experience of serving was benefit enough, and the rest is pure gravy.

I have been involved with the VA Medical Center in Los Angeles since 1973 and recently transferred my records to the Veterans Administration Loma Linda Healthcare System located at 11201 Benton Street, Loma Linda, CA. 92357.
While my experience with the VA Medical Systems over the years has always been a very positive experience and whatever medical needs that I required at the time were met in a profession and courteous manner, I confess that my experience with the Loma Linda facility has been “head and shoulders” above the rest.

I would like to take the time to say “Thank You” to the administrative staff, doctors, nurses, maintenance personnel and everyone else involved with maintaining and overseeing the operation of that outstanding facility. I speak for myself and the many other veterans who feel the same as I do. We salute and appreciate you!

In closing, if there were not so many injured and sick persons being treated at this facility then one could easily believe that they were being catered to by a five-star hotel.

God bless AMERICA and our troops / leaders, and ISRAEL and her leaders
