Employers paying under minimum wage
How do you feel if an employer decide that they want to pay you under $5 an hour? For me, I wouldn't work for that low, cause I have better things to do with my life than run the kitchen for $5 an hour but that's exactly how much lots of people are gettingpaid in the restaurant business in China Town Las Vegas, or China Town in any part of the country. I bet you will have lots of evidence once you walk into their store.
Ask any restaurants worker who works for 14
hours a day and get paid for only eight hours of work and the rest is just normal pay with no over time. This is not fair. I just happen to see and know some people who work for this rate in the 2013 and I'm curious just how long will this go on. No matter how many times these businesses have been sued, they go right back to doing illegal stuff and pay people under the minimum wage, with no breaks, no lunch, and no over time.
I guess they do this cause the labor board never audit people or go out there and see and hear what people aresaying. I guess it's easy to scam if no one ever fines you for it or audit you. You can do what you want. It happens all over the country. Did I mention that all of these illegal operator don't pay half of their taxes cause they only pay cash half of the time. So the country could be doing better at least a million business paying taxes.
How about the nail industry? They're doing all the labor violation, giving deadly diseases away and half of the country's nail salon do not pay half of their taxes cause it's all paid in cash to its employees. There are at least a million nail shop in the US, and if they all paid taxes, we be a wealthier country. They do not pay taxes. I can imagine the IRS can do back taxes on them for the last one hundred years in the US. OK, Uncle Sam here is a great idea to help out your national debt. Go out and audit these nail shops and restaurants and make them pay their taxes and they don't half of the time. They abuse the hell out of employees and do not follow any federal laws, and giving deadly diseases to all that come into their shop. Here's a tip for you uncle Sam.

Employers doing illegal stuff
I'm saying that these little illegal operator is causing massive harms to those that work for them and those that come to support their business. IF they are that evil with employees, why would they not have harmful products for customers, like giving out deadly bacteria to nail salon customers cause they never sanitize their tools. They can over work employees in their restaurants and cause them all kinds of injuries without even paying worker's compensation for it. This all happens too well because of the lack of auditing by the labor department. If you're rigorous and you audit and you listen to employees who have suffered then there wouldn't be that many problems out there.
It doesn't feel good to eat at these restaurants knowing that the people who work to serve you haven't had their meals for the last 10 hours. They can only rush to eat like animals, they never have designated breaks and lunches. How can you work someone for 14 hours and not give them any breaks. You know what they say about China's sweat shop, well it's the same
at these places and no difference so you shouldn't go to their nail salon or their restaurants either. I'm just upset that people are being paid $5 an hour and employer think it's legal and ok. Employees are afraid to report their employers cause they will be without a job. I can't believe that these things are happening in the US. I'm hoping that the labor department would pay more attention to these sweat shops and make them pay for what they've done to a lot of people.
